Defining 'fairy tale'

fairy tale definition (taken from Merriam-Webster website)

1a : a story involving fantastic forces and beings (ei: fairies, wizards, and goblins)

1b : a story in which improbable events lead to a happy ending

2 : a made-up story usually designed to mislead

Synonyms: fablefalsehood, falsity, fib, lie, prevarication, story, tale, taradiddle, untruth

Antonyms: truth

My other 2 fairy tale tapestries are based on the first part of that definition. This one is based on the second part - the fairy tale as  ‘made-up story designed to mislead’….. a lie. This week, rather than explain how I did it, we’re going to try something different: here’s the finished piece, with lots of details. Take a look, and see what you think.
